Overview of the Grading Process

You will participate in 12 weekly Discussions, which will be assigned in two parts, for a total of 15 points each week. You will post Questions 4 times in the semester for 5 points each. These assignments are geared toward building your papers and allowing the class to share its ideas about the literature and writing experience. Discussion Schedule.

The Informal Writing Assignments, three short papers, and research paper can be found under “Assignments.” Share them with me via Google Drive. How to Submit Work.

You can earn a possible 1000 points over the course of the semester.   900-1000 is an A, 800-899 is a B, and so forth. You can see below that Discussions, Questions, and Informal Writing assignments are one half of your grade, and the papers make up the other half.
